pinch, punch, first of the month...

february is here and only 16 sleeps until we leave! got a call from the bank while leaving leclerc on thursday to say our currency was ready. popped in on my way home and collected dek, sek and nok (sounds like a kids story!). i duly signed and watched as each note was counted. our characterful cashier commented as each new currency came to light. the nok, norwegian krone, made her laugh. it looks like monopoly money she said. i had to agree and we'll probably spending it like monopoly money according to all my friends who have visited norway and cringed at the prices!
