the last day!
day 12 (5th march)
it has arrived! the last day. we dutifully put out our cases by the nearest 'elevator' well before the allotted time and went down to breakfast. we chatted to robin who told us we were amazing to be going home by train and to have even been to china by train. back to the cabin to make sure nothing was left behind and to vacate it by 10 o'clock.
down to the cafe for a cinnamon topped capuccino and the last of the blog entries.
so, goodbye, faithful readers around the globe (new zealand and vancouver island that i know of!)and maybe there will be a footnote from oslo or a city 'sur le retour). thank you for your comments and a bientot until the next time! :)

Have a great train journey back home...you won't know what to do when the ground is not rolling about you! Looking forward to more of your photos when you both have time. Sorry not to have commented under each posting, but I have been reading them as you posted, so if nothing else, you know that someone in Canada was enjoying them! And, at the very least, it acts like a diary of sorts for your future reference. Robin is visiting me at present, and I let her read the 'journal' I made of our trip to Europe together that we did in 1999. She enjoyed reading it, as she had forgotten some of the activities and events along the way!
