off to the jura

with our impeccable sense of timing we will arrive in la pesse in sunshine but will have rain for our first day on raquettes! tant pis! but looking forward to it as it is our first visit to the jura in the winter.

the drive will be longer but we will have the chance to catch up with gill and the family afterwards. glorious sunshine today but cold frosts in the mornings so lots of thermals going in the bags. we've opted for demi pension and hope it won't be like our experience in auzon a few years back! the hotel publicity says there is dog sledding which i would love to try....
