getting excited

yesterday the cruise tickets and information came through by email...exciting! we have read everything and it has been put into the green file which is getting much thicker and more interesting. today i went into the bank and ordered three lots of krone; norwegian, swedish and danish so we can buy coffee and sarnies on the train as we head from copenhagen to oslo. last night i started reading the lonely planet and frightened myself with the prices listed for restaurants and sites. i went to bed in a panic, mentally calculating how little we would be able to eat and do! this morning with a clearer head i realised i had been multiplying by ten and arriving at greatly inflated prices....phew! meanwhile lou has tried on the crampons we bought at le lioran and decided they won't do so has been looking for others. i stamped down the snowy garden and they stayed put on my boots so i hope they will cope with the icy pavements of scandinavia! four weeks tomorrow before we leave......... :)
