48 hours to go!

slowly, slowly the days creep by... the case is finally packed but not without jettisoning certain garments which i hope won't turn out to have been essential! wednesday was a busy day, lou woke up with an attack of the gout and the plumber finally arrived to take away the ghastly heated towel rail and 'pose' the new radiator. i managed to get lou a doctor's appointment so he is back on the painkiller and off the beer! thank goodness it chose this week to play up, not next! the cats have been 'frontlined' and will be off to the cattery tomorrow so long as we can keep them in, standby for a lot of wailing! :)
