return of the sun!

thick mist when we took the cats this morning, the castle floated above the valley and we had to stop for photos. the causse looked lovelier than ever but i find it always does when i'm about to go away for a while. on the way back we got a call from chris about cutting the tree branches on the bank that drive us mad banging on the metal abri roof all summer. sian came too and, job done, we sat outside over tea and beer, lou having to stick to water on account of the dreaded gout!
